What You’ll Receive
This kit takes students into a magical park, Interjection Park, to show the right way and wrong way to use interjections. It also challenges students to a creative writing project, an improv/charades style activity, and an imaginative inference project.
- Bellringer – Defines the term interjections and asks students to respond to an image with the appropriate interjection.
- Video – In this comical video skit, children enter a magical park that causes them to use the inappropriate interjections in various situations. It’s a hoot!
- PowerPoint – Take a look at various photos. Describe what is likely happening and insert an interjection that fits. Then, students are asked to act out certain interjections.
- Worksheet – Students are challenged to write a story using interjections from various categories.
